A Conversation With Connor – Part 3

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The following is a conversation I had with a convert friend of mine in April, 2016. I thought it would be of general benefit to my readers. I have done some very light editing but otherwise left the conversation as it is. My friend’s name has been changed to protect his anonymity. See Part 1 and Part 2.

[11:20:53 PM] The Muslim Theist: these are all philosophical backdrops

[11:21:10 PM] The Muslim Theist: enter into the discussion: the Form of Man is to be dominant over Woman and the form of Woman is to be submissive to Man

[11:21:19 PM] The Muslim Theist: that’s a truth that one arrives at by simple observation of nature

[11:22:04 PM] The Muslim Theist: what entails duties, responsibilities and rights that are split between men and women, that are necessarily different from one another, according to their different roles (which ultimately stem from the difference in their form)

[11:22:14 PM] The Muslim Theist: that entails duties**

[11:22:53 PM] The Muslim Theist: But that means that you can’t have ultimately “freedom” (i.e.  your passions cannot exercise themselves however you see fit. You must conform to a standard)

[11:23:05 PM] The Muslim Theist: and so feminism is a rebellion against reality

[11:23:18 PM] The Muslim Theist: in order to exercise the Will to do what “I” want

[11:23:35 PM] The Muslim Theist: I will reject that there is a way men are and a way that women are

[11:23:55 PM] The Muslim Theist: rather i will insist that each individual is different and no generalization to arrive at a universal truth is possible

[11:24:12 PM] The Muslim Theist: and hence there is not a way that men are supposed to be, or that at the least it is unknowable

[11:24:22 PM] The Muslim Theist: and there is no way women are supposed to be, or that at least it is unknowable

[11:24:22 PM] Connor: hmmmm interesting

[11:25:01 PM] The Muslim Theist: and hence nobody has a right to tell a woman to submit to a man, or to tell a man that he has duties to fulfill to a woman

[11:25:14 PM] Connor: so your basically saying there is no form that we can know

[11:25:17 PM] The Muslim Theist: It’s all a social construct; we make the truth, the Truth does not make us

[11:25:26 PM] Connor: but there is a form there anyways

[11:25:41 PM] The Muslim Theist: therefore, “I” can change reality, reality must submit to “ME”

[11:26:02 PM] The Muslim Theist: “I” will not submit to reality, reality is only what “I” make it out to be

[11:26:06 PM] The Muslim Theist: “I” am God

[11:26:17 PM] The Muslim Theist: “I” make the Truth

[11:26:24 PM] The Muslim Theist: “I” determine what’s Right

[11:26:28 PM] The Muslim Theist: “I” choose what’s Good

[11:26:40 PM] The Muslim Theist: “My” choice is always correct.

[11:26:56 PM] Connor: right radical freedom

[11:27:06 PM] The Muslim Theist: and now if you have a person who science and reason says is a man (the chromosomes don’t lie)

[11:27:11 PM] The Muslim Theist: but they tell you they feel like a woman inside

[11:27:18 PM] The Muslim Theist: well then how dare you tell them they are not a woman

[11:27:25 PM] The Muslim Theist: after all, reality is subjective

[11:27:39 PM] The Muslim Theist: if “I” feel that I am a woman, then that is the truth because “I” make the truth

[11:27:42 PM] The Muslim Theist: how dare anyone tell me any different

[11:27:46 PM] The Muslim Theist: and try to get me to submit to reality

[11:27:57 PM] The Muslim Theist: this same thought process is behind the West’s rejection of religion

[11:28:00 PM] The Muslim Theist: it happened in stages

[11:28:02 PM] The Muslim Theist: but God is reality

[11:28:06 PM] The Muslim Theist: they reject reality

[11:28:12 PM] The Muslim Theist: in order to exercise their will

[11:28:18 PM] The Muslim Theist: and believe that the self is God

[11:28:44 PM] The Muslim Theist: (not in like a hindu metaphysical way, but in like a Pharoah way where he says to the Egyptian people, “I am your Lord, the Most High”)

[11:28:57 PM] The Muslim Theist: This is the ultimate love of this world

[11:28:57 PM] Connor: lol right

[11:29:25 PM] The Muslim Theist: but ultimately, rejecting Reality (who is God) in ALL aspects (from the Highest to the Lowest aspect of the Real)

[11:29:30 PM] The Muslim Theist: only hurts the person rejecting it

[11:29:38 PM] The Muslim Theist: for example, there is a movement right now for fat acceptance

[11:29:49 PM] The Muslim Theist: Reality says: being fat is disgusting, it’s not okay, and it’s unhealthy

[11:29:59 PM] The Muslim Theist: fat acceptance have muh feelingz hurt

[11:30:21 PM] The Muslim Theist: and so what do they do? they try to change reality to submit to their will and allow them to eat more cupcakes without judgement from other people or guilt

[11:30:58 PM] The Muslim Theist: but the reality that they are rejecting, by all manner of sophistry and false argument, will only hurt them in the end. Because Reality is Reality, regardless of whether you accept it or not

[11:31:36 PM] The Muslim Theist: so when Jimmy McFlubber eat’s McDonalds for 20 years, guess what? He’s going to have a heart attack and poor health etc. He brought about his own pain by the rejection of Reality

[11:31:42 PM] The Muslim Theist: the same thing applies with regard to the Hereafter

[11:31:53 PM] The Muslim Theist: and that is what Hellfire is actually; it is the consequence of people rejecting Reality

[11:32:10 PM] The Muslim Theist: and now you understand what Islam is

[11:32:15 PM] The Muslim Theist: Islam is submission to Reality

[11:32:16 PM] The Muslim Theist: in all aspects

[11:32:27 PM] The Muslim Theist: whether it be the Truth of healthy eating

[11:32:46 PM] The Muslim Theist: which is an aspect of God’s Will in this world; this is the way He decreed this world to be

[11:33:11 PM] Connor: right submission to truth

[11:33:29 PM] Connor: the disbelievers also have a definition that they disbelieve truth

[11:34:09 PM] Connor: also it’s my bedtime we’ll chat later sorry lol
